A great spot to see the red cliffs, by land or by water. This trail takes you along the South Sask River and around the RedCliff Golf Course

Starting along the Old Man River down to Trout Pond, making an excellent halfway stop for a quick dip on the beach.

Writing on Stone Provincial Park has a 5.5km out and back trail, starting from the visitor centre along the Milk River ending at Coulle View Point. This is very thin sandy trail and is well worth the drive to see the sandstone formations.

A large open dog park with well maintained trails. Multiple options for trails exist but a loop around the park is about 2km long. Pathways extend past the dog park down to Ole Man River for a longer option even merging into the Coal Banks Trail.

One of the best views of the Viaduct. Deer Loop is one of our favourites but Bean Counter and The Muff are great option as well.

So much to explore at this provincial park an hour south of Medicine Hat. There are many great options for trails here. including Mitchell Creek, Old Baldy and Beaver Creek. Ranging from 5km to 12km loop trails will suit all skills and distances.

Lots of paved trails, picnic options as its neighbor across the river, Police Point. Some nice river access for fishing and a boat launch as well.

Serene landscaped garden merging Japanese & Canadian styles, with water features, forests & meadows. Perfectly positioned on Henderson Lake for an extended stroll around the waterfront.

You can walk around the lake after your stop at Nikka Yuka, but dropping in a kayak, SUP or floatie is the way to go here.

A great place to walk around and see the Viaduct, the Helen Schuler Nature Centre also has great indoor and outdoor exhibits.
