A short boardwalk trail lined with trees and marshland in the west end of London

This nearly 20km route around Fanshawe Lake is the toughest hike in London. This is a dirt trail and can get very muddy but well shaded for the perfect mid summer hike

Most of this route follows wide trails with lovely tree cover from canopies and lots of elevation changes. While the summer and fall are the best months for hiking as it can also get quite muddy.

This is a great trail for those looking for a mix of meadow, forest, and riverside nature. Get ready for crowds on weekends but some decent elevation changes keeps things exciting during off peak.

To the east of London in Dorchester is this 3.5km trail around Mill Pond, it can get quite muddy and narrow in a few sections. Many boardwalks and bridges keep the route entertaining.

This abandoned railroad bridge is great for a short walk but is the perfect spot for people watching in St Thomas. Art and sculptures are nearby as well. You cna use this as your tarting point to also do the full trail of 8km each way

So much to do here from the Big Creek National Wildlife Area, the main beach and plenty of camping options. One of the best birding locations in the region.

Known for its winter time skiing, this is a great option in the warmer months for mountain biking, treetop climbing, beach volleyball or yoga.

Along the Thames River, a short distance from downtown this is a great off leash do park with separate sections for big and small dogs.

Port Stanley offers a great day trip to explore this lakeside village. With beaches, a nice main drag to explore but the best is to walk out to the Pier.
